Kaela Kimura was born to a Japanese mother and a British father. She learned English when she was young, but has now forgotten most of it. She is former model for Seventeen magazine, having started in 2002. In 2003, she joined Saku Saku, an early morning TV show, and quickly rose to fame. In 2004, Kaela announced plans to start making music.
